Newsec Infra advises Kraftö on the sale of the ca 70 MW Hallösa wind farm to Prime Capital

The Hallösa wind farm, located in SE3 Sweden, is expected to commence construction within the coming months and requires total investments north of EUR 100 million. The wind farm is ready-to-build subject to finalization of construction contracts. Start of operations is scheduled for Q4 2024. It is acquired by Prime Green Energy Infrastructure, enabling further diversification of its existing Nordic wind farm portfolio.

Newsec Infra acted as exclusive advisor to Kraftö on this transaction, being its fourth within Nordic wind thus far in 2022. Together, these transactions have enabled investments north of EUR 1.5 billion into Nordic renewable energy and the energy transition.

David Albericci, Director in Kraftö, commented:

“We are delighted to finalize this transaction in only a few weeks with Prime Capital.  The transaction could not have been completed within this timescale without the expertise of Prime and the active involvement of Newsec Infra.”

Mathias Bimberg, Head of Infrastructure at Prime Capital commented:

“We are thrilled to have been able to secure this attractive project in SE3 for our investors: with it our Prime Green Energy Infrastructure is well diversified across the Nordics and over 75% invested. We would like to thank Kraftö and their advisers for a good cooperation making this project with a tight construction time line possible.”

Omid Ashrafi, Managing Partner at Newsec Infra commented:

“We are thankful for having had the opportunity of working alongside Kraftö and Prime on this transaction, enabling highly needed build-out of renewable energy in the south of Sweden.”
