Newsec Energy Transition advises Eolus on the sale of Latvia’s largest wind project to date

Newsec Energy Transition is pleased to have served as exclusive financial advisor to Eolus on its divestment of the 147 MW Pienava wind farm project to Latvenergo. Pienava is the largest wind project to date in Latvia.

The Pienava wind farm has been developed by Eolus Baltics and is to include a total of 21 wind turbine generators. Commercial operations are expected to start in 2027. Pienava is expected to deliver 475 GWh of renewable energy to the Baltic power grid.
